The semester has started off with an unusual start. Two days on and at this count, three days off. Winter wonderland has turned out to be an unexpected break from routine. This blog will help you keep up on the various resources that are available on the web, blog sites that will help you in all areas of the IB Diploma and in science in general. Stepping outside on this cold but sunny day, I am thinking of all the ares we have covered that could touch on this- thermoregulation, cellular respiraton, enzymes, and properties of water just for a start. Being from the North where the local wildlife knows when not to venture out into the cold, I am startled by the number of birds and squirrels out. HL students- Natural selection anyone? We will learn more about animal behavior and instinct, eco systems and global warming.
SL students will stay with the body human for most of this semester and if time allows, we will venture into ecosystems and ecology.
